Portland Trailblazers Preview
Greg Oden is hurt, which opens the door for LaMarcus Aldridge. He’ll be very good this year. I expect averages of close to 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. Brandon Roy will build on his rookie campaign and do quite well leading this team. Jarret Jack should do about the same that he did last year. If you need rebounds, Joel Przbilla is your man.
I’ll be watching Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw to see if they ever cash in on their potential.
This is so short, because I only have three teams left and with the birth of my daughter

Minnesota Timberwolves Preview
They traded KG and got a lot in return. Al Jefferson is every bit as good as advertised and he’ll show it this year. Then they traded Ricky Davis and got nothing in return, but that opened up room for the young guys like Rashad McCants and Gerald Green, so it was worth it.
Projected starting lineup with last year’s stats:
Stats follow this format – Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, FG percentage & Minutes
PG – Randy Foye
10.1 – 2.7 – 2.8 – 0.65 – 0.26 – 43% – 23 min

Al Jefferson is the only sure thing on this team, but it will be fun to see which young players step up and contribute. Grab them quick when they show promise, they are all very talented.

Denver Nuggets Preview
Melo and AI have a full year to see what they can do, and I think they’ll do very well. Camby will give you incredible stats when healthy, but that’s the biggest question, will he stay healthy. Kenyon Martin is back and starting which should help the team quite a bit, although he’ll be splitting minutes with Nene, as he should be.
Projected starting lineup with last year’s stats:
Stats follow this format – Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, FG percentage & Minutes

Memphis Grizzlies Preview
Memphis is a very good young team anchored by one of the best power forwards in the game, Pau Gasol. They got over on Houston last year by trading Shane Battier for Rudy Gay and Stromile Swift, both are starting for the Griz this year. I think they’ll surprise a lot of teams and they have a shot making the playoffs. The main reason I’ll say they are out of the playoffs is because of the division they are in.
Projected starting lineup with last year’s stats:
Stats follow this format – Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, FG percentage & Minutes
PG – Kyle Lowry
5.6 – 3.1 – 3.2 – 1.4 – 0.10 – 37% – 17 min
SG – Mike Miller
18.5 – 5.4 – 4.3 – 0.77 – 0.29 – 46% – 39 min
SF – Rudy Gay
10.8 – 4.5 – 1.3 – 0.91 – 0.95 – 42% – 27 min
PF – Pau Gasol
20.8 – 9.8 – 3.4 – 0.49 – 2.14 – 54% – 36 min
C – Stromile Swift
7.8 – 4.6 – 0.3 – 0.56 – 1.15 – 47% – 19 min
Key Bench Players
Darko Milicic
Hakim Warrick
Juan Carlos Nacarro
Mike Conley Jr.
Damon Stoudamire
I’ve loved Darko and defended him, even lost money on him, since he came into the league, well if he can’t beat out Stromile Swift for a starting spot, then the love stops here. He’s a scrub, don’t draft him. Period.
Rudy Gay is poised for a breakout year and he’ll do it. Mike Miller won’t average 18.5 points this year because Pau Gasol is healthy and Rudy Gay is emerging.
Lowry and Conley Jr. will be splitting time, so avoid both.

San Antonio Spurs Preview
I don’t like the Spurs. They didn’t make any changes this summer, so expect the same thing as last year, only draft Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. They won’t win the championship this year. That’s all I’ll say about the Spurs.
Oh yea, Tony Parker Sucks, but I love Eva!
